new in the shop!

Well I finally put these up in my shop... yay with barely enough time for V-day. I have discovered that I loathe taking product shots. So I kept trying and trying and I was unsatisfied with how they turned out... maybe those pockets of time to take the pictures was too small and I felt rushed. Anywho out of frustration I opted for no pictures on Etsy. Hopefully this is ok. If someone is absolutely dying to see a real live photo of the cards I will happily send some.

This set of cards is like the bigger sibling to the little Symbolisms cards I have done in the past. One design is actually from that project. The cards are professionally printed on 5x7 100# paper. They are blank inside and come with a brown bag colored envelope. AND if you purchase by February 11th shipping is FREE. Each card is $4. Follow the link(s) to purchase.

new in the shop - holiday symbolisms

holiday_symbolisms copy

holiday_symbolisms_2

So it's that time of year and I couldn't resist making some holiday cards. A while back I made a series of cards called Symbolims (that section on my website is temporarily defunct but you can see a few on Flickr), which were mini cards intended to simply state a sentiment to someone you love or hate. Well in the same vein I created a companion set. There are less images this go 'round however, with 12 unique cards. Each set will  come with 24, so two of each, but if anyone happens to want individual cards or a few of one style I'm of course A-OK with that. In case you didn't know this already, I will sell you ANYTHING if you want it.

Many of the cards, just like last time, are a little obscure or a far fetched connection (Ben Affleck anyone?), but they are a representation of how my brain connects images to words. I don't get it, and I have stopped trying to. Hopefully some of them resonate with you though and will make a great companion to those gifts you will be (or not be) giving out.

You can buy them here for $25.

new in the shop (sort of)

Well this isn't exactly new but the way these prints can be purchased is. Maybe it's the lazy in me, but instead of continually putting up individual prints, guessing what someone might want, keeping up with what I have on hand, I've decided to create an option to simply pick out what you want. Posters generally only take a day to get printed so they can still ship quickly. There are 28 to choose from, and can be bought as 10x10 for $25 or 5x5 for $7. And if there is a another design or size I can accommodate that as well. Available here.

new in the shop!

I guess I am in a mini-mood. Added to the shop are sets of small posters. Right now there are two sets of four -- one from the "Need to Want" series and one from the "One Minute Photoshop". Figured it might be nice to offer some alternate sizes... you know, to hang over your toilet or to cover up that tiny crack in the wall.

Each set is $25 or they can be bought individually for $7. Please enjoy!

symbolisms

It's like a dumb switch that I can't turn off in my brain... I can't stop playing word association in my head. The latest peek into my mind comes in the form of greeting cards that I designed called "Symbolisms". They are simple sentiments that you can give to someone that you love (or hate). Probably not very practical and potentially passive they're an easy way to express yourself. One side is a picture and the opposite side has text that supports the image, or vice versa. All cards are business card sized and come in a envelope that matches or compliments the color of the particular card. I'm going on and on...

A few examples are below but you can see the on-going project on my website and find out more specifics on buying at my shop.

new in the shop!

As a fan of Scout Books I couldn't resist trying out their "Make Your Own" option. I can't say that my design is going to set the world on fire but as a dedicated list maker and promoter of a 12 Step Program I am happy to have yet another tool in my efforts to do things and assist others.

If you would like one they are available for sale in my shop. Each "Journal of Doing" comes with a custom white pencil that has an inspirational message or one of the 12 steps on it. More specifics, like size and materials are listed at my shop as well.

new in the shop!

I have a few more photos for sale in my shop. The one above, as a 16x24 print, and my Texas flag photo (as 11x16), and my horse photo (as 16x24). As an unintentional and lame bonus you get to see more of my shoes... and bare feet. And no, no feet have compromised/tainted any images.

in the shop

Someday I will get prints made of other images, but for now I give you yet another copy of the "Call Your Folks" photo, this time with the addition of a border. It can be purchased here.

new in the shop!

I have a few new prints in the shop from the "Need to Want Less" and "One Minute Photoshop" series and have also made a change to previously included prints -- each is 10x10 vs. 8x8 in order to offer a more generous border for various framing/matting options.

I'm also scrambling to get a few other projects finished up to include in time for holiday shoppers, you know, just in case someone wants to give the gift of Recovery.

Thanks for taking a look and as always if there is something from my website/flickr that you would like and it's not available just let me know and I can most likely get it for you.

quick pick message

The line between laziness and convenience is sometimes a blurry one. With this list I'm not sure if I have come any closer in clearing up the debate. I give you the Quick Pick Message ("When you don't have time to write it all out"), for those brief thoughts you've got to pass along. My head tells me this is straight up lazy but my heart says it's not, after all lists are the cornerstone of recovery.

This list can be yours in two ways: as an 8 x 10 free pdf download (white background) or you can buy a bunch of printed mini versions in my shop, which includes a small pencil and is enclosed in a customized prescription bottle and bag (and if you ask nicely I will throw in some extra sheets). So go tell it like it is and enjoy!
