1 minute photoshop: hesitation

toy camera connection

Four Corner Store is a great little site that I discovered through The Plastic Lens (a fun place to visit also). Both sites share a love for toy cameras with FCS offering some novelty and also more well known options at reasonable prices.

tema stauffer

I am running of ways to say that I really love something, so I'll just let the photos do all the work (that first shot with the horse is amazing). Tema Stauffer is someone I think I could go on a great field trip with. See more of her photographs by clicking here.

the whïte elephänt pt. 2

I know I just wrote a post about him the other day, but when this picture crossed my path today I simultaneously drooled and peed my pants. See more of Mando here.

1 minute photoshop: complication

lazy pileup

Lately I feel like my laziness has reached proportions on par with Locked-In Syndrome. I am surrounded by my color coded lists, have a million and one things I would like to make, have a billion and one things I need to take care of, and of course one very big task of finding a job. I am failing miserably at Step #6. In the last few days I have managed to take a few pictures, wash my car, set up a digital converter box, bowl the best game of my life (a total fluke), and waste time on the internet. I need an intervention, an epiphany, or swift kick. Any volunteers?

zach ground

Isn't this photo unbelievable? Zach Ground (ANOTHER photographer from Austin... I promise it's not favoritism, there are a lot of good photographers living here) took this and I love how he captured the light and shadows. He has a great collection of images, achieved using a multitude of different cameras, all with surprising, creative and magical results. So if you're looking for a terrific variety check out his Flickr. I have marked many of them as favorites.

romance isn't dead

It's in the bathroom.

1 minute photoshop: fornication

The best dessert in the world. Peanut butter and chocolate that is.

More 1 Minute stuff here. Because I seriously can't seem to stop doing these.

thanks will bryant!

The cyber world has been good to me again thanks to artist Will Bryant. I know I have been going on and on lately about the nice folks that I have been meeting/admire, but you will have to deal with the mention of one more. Truly, what I have gotten to know about fellow Austinite Bryant is nothing but great. He recently was a guest poster on My Love For You is a Stampede of Horses and featured some of the stuff I have made.

Please check out My Love For You is a Stampede of Horses and Will's work. I'm jealous of the things he can do. Here is just a sample... links are below.
